Our story
How we got where we are today
BLBInLaw embodies a journey of dedication to global expertise. The idea of a cross-border partnership was inherent to the founding of InLaw Luxembourg by Patrick Houbert, whose path initiated in the legal realms of the renowned Aix-Marseilles University, France, in 1994. His voyage, which started in his homeland Mauritius, then led him to the heart of Europe in 2006 after 12 years passed in Aix-Marseilles. Having kept strong ties with his partners at Lafran & Associés in Marseilles, his deep family ties with Italy naturally led him to build a strong relationship with Milan based BLB Studio legale, which outreach goes far beyond the Italian boundaries, expanding not only to other parts of Europe but also to Asia and America.
Supported from inception by Alessandro Benedetti, Silvano Lorusso, Mario Benedetti and Jean-Marie Lafran, founding partners at BLB Studio Legale and Lafran & Associés, BLBInLaw's narrative is rich with global ties and unwavering dedication to the law.
