ean-Marie Lafran has practised as a lawyer since 1995. After completing a postgraduate degree in Media Law and a Masters in International Business Law in Aix-en-Provence, he became a partner in the law firm André-Plantavin-Lafran, which specialises in Business Law, Construction and Real Estate Law and Intellectual Property. From 2006 to 2014, he practised under his own name in these areas before founding Lafran & Associés. 

Jean-Marie is well known for his sense of strategy in litigation and commercial negotiations. He advises well established retailing groups in France, and also has a recognized expertise in real estate, especially in the commercial sector. Jean-Marie also advises clients in the music and digital TV industry.
